Sam and Yori Schmooze Away the Night after Yom Kippur

NYC, Sept. 28, 2009 – Three elements combined tonight to pose a serious challenge to the new political comedy show "Town Hall Schmoose" starring Sam Greenfield and Yori Yanover. The guest, Council Member Rosie Mendez, had to cancel because a death in her family earlier in the day. Our condolences to Rosie, and we hope to see her later in the fall. Then there was the weather, the first stormy night in a while in the city. And the show opened roughly 30 minutes after the end of Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

Still, both Sam and Yori opted to go on with the show, a decision that yielded some very fine bits of conversation and humor between the two hosts and with the smaller than usual but high quality audience.

We’ve now launched our You Tube channel where we plan to post a few cuts from each show. Same cuts are embedded here, as well.

Our guest next Monday, October 5, will be Democratic candidate for City Council Margaret Chin.
